r temples of learning

Recently I happened to come across yet another 'modus operandi' of organised corruption in our so called temples of learning; yes our 'schools'.

Its difficult to believe but it is happening. On every appointment of a teacher, management is asking for a security deposit. Well nothing wrong with it. They ought to have some assurance. But it is being asked in cash with no receipt. Pathetic situation in a place where jobs are scarce. Prospective applicants are forced into accepting it.

Is anyone listening?

Any suggestions?

  1. Being a teacher i know such practices do occur in many institutions. Its indeed a pathetic state !

  2. Very relevant post. Ideally we should not bow down to such corrupt practices. Practical compulsion may make us compromise thats another sad fact.

  3. Yet another common practice prevailing in most of the institutions is teachers being given x amount and made to sign on y amount. When will this rot stop? And big question is who will stop it and how?
    Any takers?

  4. Its a vicious process; practical compulsions-rightly said. How to take the bull by its horns?
